Skywatch Friday

We had just taken our daughter's boyfriend home Sunday night and were on our way to meet friends for ice cream. Although the local Dairy Queen was calling our names, when we saw this sunset my husband knew I'd want to stop for pictures! He's such a great sport! Our friends already had their ice cream when we arrived at Dairy Queen, but maybe once they've seen these photos they'll understand why we took so long!

Be sure to check out other skywatchers here.

Lovely shots - but the first is simply gorgeous! Love the fence in front!

Both shots are excellent. Who can beat a Texas sunset? But, my favorite is the first one.

Two beautiful shots! The second one is my favorite. Nice framing.

wow, the sky looks just like the sunset I posted on my dallas blog.
I know they're both Texas but maybe they were taken the same day.

Very nice colors.

I love the framing too! But the colors are magnificent and I really like how you took the first shot with the fence silhouette. Hi from sunny California!

Not sure which I am more jealous of - the sunsets or the ice cream at DQ....
