Purple Flowers
I don't know what these are and I'd never seen them before tonight. My husband and I went for a motorcycle ride and I found these in a field near where we broke down. Anyone know what they are?
I am a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother who is not often found without a camera or paintbrush at hand. I live in a small town in Texas, but grew up in West Plains, Missouri. God's beautiful world inspires me to take photographs and paint. I work full time as our church's administrative assistant.

Really really nice! Kind of thistle-y
This is an eryngo. You should be seeing more of them. They bloom for the next couple of months
I am not sure what they are, but they sure are pretty. As always, great shots!
"Louis" had no idea what they are, so he was glad to see that Billie knew...they don't look like anything "Louis" has foraged on...Very nice geometry!
These are thistles. They are one of the most beautiful flowers around but they sure become serious with thorns and stickers.
This is gorgeous Tammy!
