In the (almost) 8 years I've lived in South Texas I've never seen the autumn colors like they are this year. They still aren't very vibrant around here, but we took a road trip to Lost Maples Saturday to see more and they are much better there. Even though the colors are awesome by Texas standards....they still don't stack up to the colorful falls in the Missouri and Arkansas Ozark Hills.
I always get homesick for Missouri in the fall and it's because I love the fall colors and the activities that always came with fall: hayrides, bonfires, etc., so it was great to see a glimpse of color this weekend.

Colorful Autumn indeed!!! I can't figure out which season is my favorite... Autumn or Spring - they're both sooo colorful.
These are just so rich in autumn hues they look fit to burst through the screen.
Very beautiful shots. I love Fall it is by far my favorite season. I like the picture of the red leaves.
