I got a new lens for my camera yesterday (woo hoo!). Last night while I sat on the back deck visiting with friends I snapped some weird photos of all the citronella candles and torches Marty had lit in an attempt to keep the mosquitos away. Weird or not, I like the way the subtle colors dance around the flames against the black night.

I like the 3 floating candles! Nice shot.
Its great how the candles and flame just appear to be all alone in the dark. Have fun with your new lens.
