October Sky
I witnessed a beautiful sunset as I drove into town to pick up my daughter from her after school activities. Of course I had to stop the car and get out to take some photos before continuing the drive to the school!
Your pictures are very beautiful. Such glorious sunrises and sunsets and this one is a case in point. You have caught that elusive glow around the sun, like a halo, not possible to see with the naked eye, yet perfectly captured none the less.
I am a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother who is not often found without a camera or paintbrush at hand. I live in a small town in Texas, but grew up in West Plains, Missouri. God's beautiful world inspires me to take photographs and paint. I work full time as our church's administrative assistant.
