Half Time Under the Friday Night Lights

Friday night found us at another football game cheering on the Seguin Matadors. Unfortunately the Mats lost but we still enjoy attending the games.

I took many photos during the band and dance team's half time show.

I love our flags, but I'm sure the flag runners are worn out after each game, running these flags from one end of the field to the other after each touch down.

One of the dance team officers, Ashley.

Although my favorite instrument is of course the french horn my daughter plays, I also really enjoy the sounds of the sax.

My daughter Heather, playing the mellophone (when she isn't marching she plays a french horn).

One of the tuba players.

Mellos. Heather marches in her dance team uniform at the football games because she performs with both dance and band. This makes her very easy to spot on the field! When I attend a band contest and she's in her band uniform I can never find her! Then they all look alike from the stands!!!

Go Mats Go!

These photos filled my need for going down memory lane of my very own "Friday Night Lights" back in the 80's. THANKS for sharing! Those flags are awesome!
